THE SESSION
This was the majestic day for mc’s, the mc of the month for June on RAP ACTIVITY JAM.

ERESH, AFRICAN DESCENDANTS, EQUIV & TAPS and THE NERDS, all possessing their crowns of the past weeks, kept the listeners waiting patiently to hear who will come out alive to snatch the glittering ice-like trophy from SPRITE. ERESH came through to draw first blood, setting the record straight from his intro that he had been dumped. He painted his picture vividly with lines like "selling sex, sex and addicted to fear of being alone / like a phone with no dialing tone". The brother was in pain, spitting from the heart the real essence of his street poem and never minding the beat. All in all he was ill.

AFRICAN DESCENDANTS two hardcore sisters with a conscious syllabus mixed with battling skills, fully represented all the sisters out there, showing that AFRICAN women of today can withstand the heat and function outside the kitchen with ease. The DESCENDANTS were phat for sure, hope that they snatch the coveted trophy next time.

THE NERDS proved once more that they are full of creativity and their intentions is to touch every soul. Dealing with day-to-day situations, they emerged as observers who know their story.

EQUIV & TAPS featuring DJ KING came fully prepared. It’s good to see cats taking this RAP GAME serious and taking time out to practice their stuff.
