BREAKING NEWS:

Launched today (Sunday, August 1), www.venezuelasolidarity.org.uk/ says it is organized by progressive people within Britain, aimed at helping to explain to a British audience what is happening in Venezuela and to promote and support Venezuela Solidarity work.

Venezuelasolidarity, like VHeadline.com is wholly in support of www.vheadline.com/readnews.asp?id=6822 the 1999 Venezuela Constitution and subsequent social and economic changes that have the massive support of an overwhelming majority of the poorest (80%) of the Venezuelan population.

A formal launch, with the support of key British Trade Unions and Labour movement political parties, is planned for next year.

It aims to get the support of all people in Britain who believe in the right of all people in Latin America to self determination and has the support of those who oppose coups and fascists interventions. The organizers say they will contact all British MPs over the course of the next few months and that all other suggestions for work and activities will be welcomed.

In advance of next year's work, they will be building a database of solidarity work and promoting activities in advance of the referendum. In the meantime, webmaster Andy Goodall says readers in Britain and across Europe will watch and anticipate the Presidential referendum decision on Sunday August 15. “We wish for the Venezuelan people the greatest victory possible after 40 years of poverty … by reaffirming support for President Hugo Chavez, the massive improvements in health and education can be extended still further and real, fundamental progress can be made.”

www.venezuelasolidarity.org.uk/ encourages all people to support the progress being made and oppose coups and terrorists backed by multi-billionaire business and media owners.

VHeadline.com remains 100% independent of all political factions in Venezuela
— our aim is to report what's happening without submitting to lawlessness

Our editorial statement reads:
VHeadline.com Venezuela is a wholly independent e-publication promoting democracy in its fullest expression and the inalienable right of all Venezuelans to self-determination and the pursuit of sovereign independence without interference. We seek to shed light on nefarious practices and the corruption which for decades has strangled this South American nation's development and progress. Our declared editorial bias is most definitely pro-Constitutional, pro-Democracy and pro-VENEZUELA.
