(TMPress International – New York – November 2, 2004) – From Challengers to Provisional Ballots, the GOP Pulls Out All the Stops in Battleground States to Stop Voters … With millions of new Americans at the polls on Tuesday, November 2 to vote … the GOP seems to be putting an all out effort to suppress voters, who seem to be Independent or Democrat or who are not just new voters, but minority voters and past voters.

In Ohio, GOP challengers according to reports are `hovering over the tables' … demanding to see credentials from voters and in some cases outright telling voters they do not have the right to vote unless they can prove who they are and why they are at that precinct. The 2002 Federal HAVA act in Ohio was even being denied by poll workers to persons, who claimed they were registered absentee and normally registered, until a Federal Circuit Court Judge ruled that Ohio must supply them with a provisional ballots under the HAVA (Help America Vote Act).

It seems the GOP is up to its same work in Wisconsin also, polling workers are reporting the highest numbers of Republican challengers to new voters in Milwaukee and other parts of Wisconsin. And in Florida the optical scanners seem to be recording every 100 Kerry voters as voting for Bush, in their `supposed hugely successful software programs’ … in another Florida update … in Volusia County, Fla., a memory card in an optical-scan voting machine failed Monday at an early voting site and didn’t count 13,000 ballots – officials have said and they `now planned to feed and count those ballots by Tuesday – `I doubt it.' By mid-morning EST, an online and phone hot line maintained by nonpartisan and liberal voting-rights activists logged more than 1,650 items, mostly related to complaints or questions about registrations and polling locations – even voters in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey complained to the hotline of troubles with non-electronic machines and electronic machines.

With the race completely tied at about Kerry 48 v. Bush 48, it seems that the GOP plans on engaging in any tactic available, the courts, challengers and disinformation amongst voters in line that they do not have the right to cast a provisional vote … historic new voters and numbers that may surpass or get close to 60 percent has pushed the GOP to use the last minute tactics to suppress the huge new voting numbers, which may be the only way George W. Bush will be re-elected! – By John Osborne, Sr. Political Editor – TMPress International Newswire.
