…In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Baghdad time Tuesday morning, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that Syrian customs officials at the Bab al-Hawa crossing on the Syrian-Turkish border had announced on 26 December that they had discovered “Israeli”-made electronic monitoring and spying devices and transmitters aboard a truck that was to transit Syria on its way from Turkey to US-occupied Iraq. The AMSI reported that Mansur Hilal, the Director of the Bab al-Hawa Customs Post as saying that the truck was loaded with 22 packages. Upon close inspection it was found that two of those packages contained Zionist-made spying and sending and receiving devices. The Syrian authorities confiscated the instruments and launched an investigation of the firm that was responsible for the shipment…
