THE SESSION
This week’s RAP ACTIVITY took a wicked deflection and lived up to its promise. Grabbing the mic were, SUPERSONIC THOUGHTS, EQUIV & TAPS and DEATHCODE.

SUPERSONIC THOUGHTS were out on the super love tip kicking lines that come straight from the heart. Lines like, ‘she was a mirror whenever I look at her I saw my perfect match’, shows how serious this cat is about this girl. SUPERSONIC got skills no doubt but his one problem is that he didn’t prepare well for the task, this was evident when he kept forgetting his lyrics.

EQUIV & TAPS were back again to orchestrate the whole show. These cats complement each other well with their skills, plus their DJ who was spinning alongside them.

MYTHOLOGICAL PROPHETS were lyrically gun blazing and went all out on some conscious tip with their catchy chorus ‘government says power to the people but now is power to the pockets’. These cats feel that the people they chose to govern are now playing tricks on them.

The last act, DEATHCODE was only too fast to hear, his lyrical content too deep to comprehend. He was ill and his lines made sense. The winners of this lyrical battle were EQUIV & TAPS.

This Week's Winner – Equiv & Taps

EQUIV & TAPS
‘I spit lines taking mc’s on the track like schummacher’
    A QUICK 1 2 1 WITH THE WINNER

  • How do you feel about winning?
We appreciate the fact that we won and that people out there feels us
  • How do you feel about the whole show?
The show is cool but there are some people who want to dictate on it. We feel that we should not be restricted, in fact there should not be limitations imposed on us. Rappers should be given enough time to rap.
