IDF soldiers – Drive by killers in cold blood shoot at innocent Palestinians

What follows is an email passed to me by Nadia, a brave and determined Palestinian woman who never gives up. She was bullied upon her attempted entry to the land that she belongs to, even though this was not legal. She was forced to turn around and she lived and worked in Jordan. She now works for a project in a Palestinian Embassy in South America, and will again return to the Middle East. But, her friends and her heart are in Nablus, from where Mira, another citizen of Nablus, sent her this letter. It is shocking. It’s time to get mad. We can’t look at this innocent blood spilt as if it is all part of “ordinary administration”. What follows is a report that talks about the innocent blood spilt, in the picture you see at the left. The scene is ugly but quiet, but the terror in the hearts of those who witnessed this cannot escape us and should not leave us indifferent….

In a dirty and neglected room in the surgical department of Rafidiya Hospital in Nablus, an elderly shepherd lies injured, the victim of a vicious attack. Five masked men assaulted him last week. They beat him with sticks as he was tending his grazing sheep to the west of his home village of Til. The five came down from the direction of Havat Gilad, an illegal outpost in the territories, sprayed teargas in his face and at his companions, and then began hitting them with sticks, drawing blood, while he lay helpless on the ground. Now the shepherd, Hashem Hamed, has two fractures in his left arm, fractures in his skull, large stitches on his head, in front and back, and is severely traumatized….

The IOF troops on Saturday withdrew from the West Bank city of Nablus after wreaking havoc for almost three days that ended with destroying a number of buildings in the Old City. Violent confrontations took place before the soldiers’ withdrawal in a number of areas that led to the injury of citizens with rubber coated bullets and gas canisters. Palestinian prisoner Fadi Abul Rub died in captivity after taking an Israeli prescribed medication that was not followed by proper treatment by the Israeli prisons authority, two Palestinian legal institutions revealed. The prisoners’ studies center and the prisoners and martyrs institution quoted the lawyer who met Abul Rub in Jalbo prison before his death as saying that the internee went to the prison’s dental clinic on 17/12/2008 where his gum was injured. The clinic asked him to take Metroniazole 250 tablets, the lawyer said quoting Abul Rub, and added that one hour after taking the medication he started to vomit and suffered from fever as his skin turned yellow….
