Positive Effect” and “

The latest political song release by Doc Jazz, “
www.soundclick.com/pro/view/02/default.cfm?bandID=221052&content=song&songID=3324154
Positive Effect”, features a slightly different sound and style than usual. This time, a more modern “dance” beat was used, resulting in a funky track that fits in more with the mainstream sound of these days. As usual, the words of the song relate to the current situation, and encourage the people of the world to take a united stand against injustice. “

Why the Innocent” is a piano ballad, and was written and recorded shortly after the Amman bombings. It calls upon armed forces in general to refrain from targeting the innocent, such as women and children.

Article: Democracy Under Fire
“Democracy Under Fire” is Tariq Shadid’s latest article,
www.palestinechronicle.com/story.php?sid=01280605035
published at the Palestine Chronicle in a slightly abbreviated version on January 28. For the

complete version of the article, visit the Musical Intifadah. Topic of this article is the recent “surprise” outcome of the Palestinian elections, and it deals with the lack of evenhandedness displayed by today’s superpowers in dealing with the concept of democracy.
“If Israel and the US truly value democracy, should they not display their reverence to it, and congratulate the new Palestinian parliament?”

Perhaps an even better way to help is by forwarding this mail to your friends and acquaintances, thereby helping the Musical Intifadah to gain even more regular visitors. Always feel free to send mail with questions or suggestions, it is highly appreciated.
! TIP ! : Do you realize, that every song you stream from the website, raises the position of the song in the Soundclick Charts? Soundclick attracts literally hundreds of thousands of visitors daily … this means that a high position for a Doc Jazz song in the charts means a strong representation for the Palestinian voice! Voting ‘hot’ for a song also helps improve this dramatically, so please consider doing this. especially since ’haters’ regularly vote ‘flop’ in order to push the songs downward in the charts! So … if you would like to support the Palestinian cause in an alternative way, simply streaming a Doc Jazz song, or voting it ‘hot’, is definitely not a wasted effort!
