22/11/04 Iran Next U.S. Target by William Clark

International correspondent William Clark is blowing the whistle on American plans for the next U.S. Middle East “intervention”, saying this is his patriotic duty as an American. The invasion will, unless blocked by the U.N. and NATO, follow a messy “disengagement” from Iraq, leaving the locals to rebuild their devastated country in a political shambles.

The Bush propaganda machine will purport to have taken democracy to Iraq, while in off-record briefings assuring the lobby groups which forced the Iraqi invasion that the exercise has been successful; Iraq is again accepting U.S. Dollars for oil, and the Morgan Chase (Manhattan) Bank has been appointed to manage the Central Bank of Iraq to ensure its “co-operation”.

But then Clark goes on to explain: “ The Iranians are now about to commit an “offense” far greater than Saddam Hussein's switch to Euro Dollars for oil in the fall of Year 2000. Numerous articles have revealed Pentagon planning operations against Iran as early as 2005. While the publicly stated reasons will be over Iran's nuclear ambitions, there are unspoken macro-economic drivers explaining the “Real Reasons” for the 2nd stage of the Petro-Dollar War. It is Iran's upcoming Euro-based Oil Bourse, or Stock market.

The Tehran Government have developed a plan to begin competing with New York's NYMEX and London's IPE, with respect to international oil trades, using Eurodollars as the trading currency. This means that without U.S. intervention, the $E will encroach deeply into the USD supremacy in oil trading; an unforgivable “crime”.

It is now obvious that the invasion of Iraq had less to do with any threat from the long gone WMD Program, and certainly less to do with fighting international terrorism than to regaining control over Iraq's hydrocarbon reserves and re-establishing the USD as the monopoly currency for international oil trading. The transition of the anti-terror war into a brutal street level hammering into submission of the remaining civilians in Iraq has greatly fuelled Al-Qaeda ambitions and Anti-Americanism as a unifying force, meaning that the next Petro-Dollar “intervention” will be an even bigger blood-bath than Iran.

It is my patriotic duty, in an effort to inform Americans of the challenges that lie ahead. On November 25th, 2004, the issues involving Iran's nuclear program will be addressed, at America's insistence, by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and if possible, referred on to the U.N. Security Council.

Regardless of the IAEA findings, it appears increasingly likely that the U.S. will use the spectre of “nuclear weapon proliferation” as a pretext for another “intervention” similar to the fears invoked for the previous WMD campaign in Iraq. Insider Pentagon sources confirm the Bush Administration could undertake a desperate military strategy to thwart Iran's nuclear ambitions, while simultaneously attempting to prevent establishment of an $E based Iranian Oil Bourse, which would inevitably involve a “forced regime change” with U.S. occupation. This is despite the post war debacle in Iraq showing that such imperial policies will be a catastrophic failure.

Our Comment: Do not say that you have not been warned, but look closely at how Fox News and Canwest with their worldwide news webs fill up their daily brainwashes with other much more “important” news.
