Sunday 3rd October 2004 In marking the first anniversary of the late Prof Edward W. Said, this event is designed to cover disciplines and thematic areas where the life and work of Edward Said have and continue to be of profound importance. The Conference consist of four sessions; postcolonial studies, media studies, literature and literary criticism and Palestine, politics and history. Conference opening: Mariam C.
