[I have to admit to a very personal connection to this event as the founder of Something Positive, Cheryl Byron who tragically died last year was not only a personal friend but the first person I played and wrote music with during my life in NYC and her passing on broke my heart. 'CB' was a unique and very talented human being who occupies a very special place in my life. For those of you who live in NYC please check out her legacy and that Afro-Caribbean culture has given to NYC and to the world.
